Samia Longchambon received an influx of praise from her Coronation Street co-stars after she sported a chic ensemble during the recent heatwave.
The 40-year-old soap actress perched on a rock under the glare of the summer sun and added a pop of color to her surroundings with a blue, orange and yellow crocheted vest.
She topped off her outfit with a pair of denim shorts and shielded her eyes from the weather with some aviator sunglasses and wore brown sandals on her feet.
The Corrie regularly added a caption to her post that garnered plenty of attention from fans and co-stars alike.
It read: ‘Found some shade.. Summer ’23 and I’m obsessed with 70s crochet.. it always comes back around doesn’t it #summertime #friday #weekend #ootd [sic].’
The star – known for playing Maria Windass in the ITV soap – was showered with love from her fellow cast members as they gushed over the summery outfits.
Kate Ford – best known for playing Tracy Barlow in Corrie – wrote: ‘Love this look.’
Next came Beth Sutherland star Lisa George who replied: ‘Love that top!’ while Sally Carman-Duttine – Abi Webster’s actress said: ‘You’re so lush.’
Fans were also quick to drop words of affection for Samia’s heatwave-inspired OOTD and one penned: ‘Cute , watching classic coronation street this morning where does the time go x [sic].’
Another noted: ‘You could rock a bin liner!’, followed by a separate social media account that said: ‘Love your top!! You look fab’.
Her post came days after she remembered her late father on what would have been his birthday and shared a heartfelt message about loss.
On her Instagram story on Tuesday, the star uploaded a vintage shot of herself as a child with her father, Joseph.
She wrote a message over the top of the family photo that read: ‘Happy heavenly birthday Dad. Miss you every day,’ and added an angel emoji as well as a yellow love heart and a broken heart.
Samia’s father died over 13 years ago and she has been known to open up about her grief in the past, telling followers: ‘A funny thing just happened.. I just thought I’m going to give my dad a call.
‘He passed away over 13 years ago but every now and then for a split second I forget. And then it’s like a punch in the gut all over again to know that I’ll never be able to speak to him.’
